ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Lady Monarchs finished in tenth place at the Navy Spring Women's Intersectional after the regatta was called with no racing on Sunday. Junior skipper Katrina Williams sailed with sophomore Ashley Pellerito to seventh place in A division, while sophomore Morgan Wilson and freshman Arianna Baker finished 11th in B division.
The event was shortened to just seven completed races as the wind never came in for the fleet on Sunday. The standings from Saturday were the final, with Old Dominion taking tenth place.
Williams and Pellerito scored 50 points in the seven completed races, just 18 back of the winning Tufts team. The Lady Monarchs won a race and were among the top ten in all but one race.
In B division, Wilson and Baker started the regatta with three straight tenth place efforts, and added a ninth and fifth place effort as well. They had 67 points and finished 11th in B division.
