CHESAPEAKE, Va. -- After the consolation semi-finals, Hofstra still leads the 2009 CAA Wrestling Championships at Oscar Smith High School with 91.5 points. ODU closed the gap and now has 69.5 points with all four matches in the finals coming against Pride grapplers. Updated brackets and team scores are available at the top of this page. Wrestling will resume with the finals and all placing bouts at 1:00 p.m.
ODU will feature four wrestlers in today's finals, all against Hofstra. Three of the four Monarchs are one seeds in 125 pounder James Nicholson, 141 pounder Ryan Williams and 165 pounder Chris Brown. All four matchups for the Monarchs are 1-2 showdowns.
All eight teams still have at least one wrestler alive in the final round. Results will be updated as soon as possible following today's final.
