Norfolk, Va. - Old Dominion University women's tennis players Nadine Fahoum and Margarita Spicin were among four student-athletes honored as Players of the Week by the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) for the week ending March 31, the league announced today.
Fahoum and Spicin put together a 3-0 record at No. 1 doubles in #55 ODU's victories over Richmond, Massachusetts and Boston University. The tandem rolled past the team of Clark/Vosters of Richmond 8-2, topped the team of Carpenter/Hodgson of UMass 8-1 and beat the team of Whu/Nunic from Boston 8-2. Fahoum and Spicin have won four straight matches.
