When did you begin playing football?

I began playing organized football at the age of seven.

Who has had the greatest impact on your career?

My mother has been the biggest impact on my career. She attends all of my games (with her new husband Andrew Cherry) and has been supporting me in everything I have done in my lifetime.

Why did you choose to attend ODU?

I chose to attend Old Dominion University first because of the school. I thought it would be a great opportunity to gain a good education and be a part of history with the first football team in over 60 years.

What has been the biggest difference between high school football and college football?

The biggest difference between high school and college football is the dedication of players and coaches. High school football was taking seriously by my teammates and I, but in college, there's a whole new level of dedication.

What has it been the best part about being a member of ODU's first football team in over 60 years?

The best part about being a part of the first football team in sixty years is the exposure we have been receiving. Many people are excited about us being here and we haven't even played a real game yet.

If you could play another position what would it be and why?

If I could play another position it would be cornerback. Throughout high school I played both the wide receiver and cornerback position.

Favorite sports other than your own?

My other favorite sports that I like to participate in and watch are track and field, basketball, and baseball.

After meeting Coach Wilder for the first time, what were your thoughts?

My thoughts after meeting Coach Wilder for the first time were that he was a well spoken person and carried himself with dignity. That attracted me to come here to Old Dominion University.

After meeting your position coach for the first time, what were your thoughts?

To be honest, my first thought of meeting Coach Malloy was that I remembered him from somewhere but couldn't remember exactly where. Later on I remembered that he coached me at a football camp at the University of Maryland.

Do you have a pre-game ritual, if so what is it?

My pre-game ritual is to listen to slow songs and get my wardrobe out for the game in order. The slow songs calm me down so I won't be as stressed for the game. Laying my clothes out is something I learned from watching Deion Sanders.

What is your funniest memory from an ODU practice thus far?

The funniest memory from practice was watching the linemen compete in drills during a Saturday morning's workout. They were competing very hard but it seemed as if they were moving in slow motion.

If you could line up opposite any player in the NFL and go 1-on-1, who would it be and why?

If I could line up against any player in the NFL and go one on one with him, it would be wide receiver DeShawn Jackson. He's a great player and by playing him I could learn more things on how to perfect my craft at the wide receiver position.

What song is stuck in your head right now?

Trey Songz - Never Run.

What is one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?

One thing people will be surprised to learn about me is that I'm a perfectionist. I like things to be together in a perfect manner. If not, its a problem.

What is your dream job?

My dream job is to own a professional sports team.

What is your most valued possession?

My most valued possession is my dad's jewelry I received from my grandmother after my father's passing.

What is your favorite place to eat on campus?

My favorite place to eat on campus and back home is Chick-Fil-A. I'm addicted.
