When did you begin playing football?

August 13th 2008

 

Who has had the greatest impact on your career?

 Coach Whitcomb

 

Why did you choose to attend ODU?

 Close to home and family

 

What has been the biggest difference between high school football and college football?

 I didn't play in high school so I don't really know.

 

What has it been the best part about being a member of ODU’s first football team in over 60 years?

 All the love we're getting from the community and students.

 

If you could play another position what would it be and why?

 Defensive End. I would like a chance to just get off the line and tackle someone.

 

Favorite sports other than your own?

 Basketball

 

After meeting Coach Wilder for the first time, what were your thoughts?

 He was a very sincere and serious person.

 

After meeting your position coach for the first time, what were your thoughts?

 He SEEMS pretty cool.

 

Do you have a pre-game ritual, if so what is it?

 I make sure that I pray before I leave the locker room.

 

What is your funniest memory from an ODU practice thus far?

 All of us playing in a big rain storm and watching everyone fall.

 

If you could line up opposite any player in the NFL and go 1-on-1, who would it be and why?

Vernon Davis or Kellen Winslow Jr., They're the best.  I would like to measure where I am now compared to those guys so I know how hard I have to work to be successful at this sport.

 

What song is stuck in your head right now?

 Put On by Young Jeezy ft. Kanye West

 

What is one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?

 That this is my first time playing football.

 

What is your dream job?

 Working in a Federal law enforcement agency.

 

What is your most valued possession?

 My cross that I wear around my neck.

 

What is your favorite place to eat on campus?

 Chick-fil-a
