The ODU Monarchs (21-10) host the Bulldogs of The Citadel (20-12) Thursday night in an opening Round game of the College Insider.com Post Season Tournament. Game time in the Constant Center is 7 p.m.
The Citadel is out of the Southern Conference and are led by All-SoCon selections Cameron Wells (15.7 ppg) and Demetrius Nelson (16.1 ppg). The Monarchs, who tied for third in the CAA are led by All-CAA center-forward Gerald Lee at 15.8 points along with sophomore Ben Finney at 10.4 points and 6.0 rebounds. Sophomore point guard Darius James leads the league with a 2.2 assist/turnover ratio. This is only the second ever meeting between the Two teams.
