COLUMBIA, SC-- Nick Ebert and Justin Dalles both knocked in three runs to lead 17th rankedSouth Carolina (10-1) to a 13-3 victory over Old Dominion (3-9) Tuesday night at the newCarolina Stadium.

ODU took a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning as Donnie Corsner singled home Gerard Hall (Washington, DC.)And Max Most. Freshman Brett Harris (Chesapeake, VA.) knocked in Jake McAloose (Virginia Beach, VA.) with a single to finish thescoring.

The Gamecocks rallied with seven runs in the bottom of the first in front of 5,962 fans led by a three-run homer by Ebert.

South Carolina had 10 hits on the night with Mack DeAngelo leading with three. Justin Dalles andAndrew Crisp each had two hits for the Gamecocks, and both hit a home run as well.

In the last five games, Corsner is hitting .409 with three doubles and eight RBIwhile Harris is hitting .417 in that stretch.

ODU had seven hits on the night led by Harris and Corsner with two each. The Monarchs travel to UNC Greensboro for a 2 p.m. contest on Wednesday afternoon.
