RICHMOND, VA-- Old Dominion University juniorforward Gerald Lee was named to the 2009 CAA All-Tournament squad. Lee scored a career high 30 points along with 10 rebounds in the Monarchs winover Hofstra.
Joining Lee on the All-Tournament team was Eric Maynor of VCU who was named Mostoutstanding Player, Larry Sanders of VCU, Cam Long and Dre Smith of George Mason,along with Junior Hairston of Towson.
Lee leads ODU in scoring at 15.8 points per game. He is shooting .565 from thefloor, .774 from the free throw line and 5.7 rebounds per game.Lee currently has 1052 career points. Last week, Lee was named first team All-CAAand first team NABC All-District 10.
The Monarchs have won 10 of their last 12 games and compiled a 21-10 overallrecord reaching the CAA semi-finals.
