Norfolk, Va. – The Lady Monarchs of ODU won their 10th match in their last 11 outings with a pair of 6-1 victories on Saturday over visiting Winthrop and UMBC. With the two wins the 36th ranked Lady Monarchs improve to 12-3 on the year.
ODU won the doubles point in both contests and 10 of the 12 singles matches on the day, six coming in straight sets. Sophomore Nadine Fahoum extended her singles winning streak to 11 at the No. 1 position, while had her streak snapped at eight.
