When did you begin playing football?

I began playing in the seventh grade in Florida

 

Who has had the greatest impact on your career?

My dad

 

Why did you choose to attend ODU?

I have family nearby

 

What has been the biggest difference between high school football and college football?

The speed of the game

 

What has it been the best part about being a member of ODU’s first football team in over 60 years?

I can help lead this to become a winning program

 

If you could play another position what would it be and why?

Wide receiver because I have good hands

 

Favorite sports other than your own?

Soccer

 

After meeting Coach Wilder for the first time, what were your thoughts?

He knows how to talk to people

 

After meeting Coach Rondeau for the first time, what were your thoughts?

We’re going to work hard and win games

 

Do you have a pre-game ritual, if so what is it?

Kick a ball around

Ed Reed because I like a challenge

What is one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?

I’ve lived in Japan and England

Playing in the NFL

A letter a friend gave me before he took his life
