The ODU Monarchs (15-9/8-6) host the Rams of Virginia Commonwealth (18-7/11-3) Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Constant Center. The sold out contest will be the annual whiteout game as all ODU fans are asked to wear white.
The Rams are led by All-CAA guard Eric Maynor (22.6 ppg), followed by center Larry Sanders at 10.8 and guard Joey Rodriguez (10.0). Gerald Lee, a two-time CAA Player of the Week this year leads the Monarchs at 15.3 points per game and5.8 rebounds. Ben Finney is next at 10.4 points and 6.3 rebounds and Keyon Carter is third at 8.5 points per game.
Sophomore guard Darius James leads the CAA in assist/turnover ratio and is averaging 4.7 assists. VCU defeated ODU Back on Jan. 17, 61-44 in Richmond.
