RICHMOND, VA-- Junior infielder Gerard Hall (Washington, DC.) has been named honorablemention pre-season All-CAA as selected by theleague's head coaches. ODU opens the regular season, Feb. 20 in the Wake Forest Tournament against Marshall.
Hall hit .361 last year as he started 33 of 41 games played at shortstop.He was 13-for-13 in stolen bases and was tied for fifth on the team with 11doubles along with one triple, 27 runs scored and two home runs.
George Mason senior outfielder Scott Krieger was selected as the 2009 CAA baseballpre-season Player of the Year.
