The opportunity to help be a part of a team that is just starting up

What has been the biggest difference between high school football and college football?
Everyone is as big if not bigger than me and the game speed and tempo is a lot faster now than it was in high school

What has it been the best part about being a member of ODU’s first football team in over 60 years?
Having people you don’t even know come up and say hi to you and start conversations and the people that come up to you vary in age from young kids to older people as well.

If you could play another position what would it be and why?
Defensive line because I would get to make tackles again

Favorite sports other than your own?
It would have to be basketball or lacrosse

After I met Coach Wilder for the first time I knew that he was going to be a great coach to get us prepared to play football at the college level

After meeting Coach Scott for the first time, what were your thoughts?
My thoughts were that he would help me get better at being a lineman because I have many aspects that I need to improve upon to be a good lineman.

Do you have a pre-game ritual, if so what is it?
Listening to certain songs on my IPod to get myself mentally prepared

What is your funniest memory from an ODU practice thus far?
My funniest memory from practice thus far would have to be when Coach Scott yelled at one of the offensive lineman and made fun of him.

If you could line up opposite any player in the NFL and go 1-on-1, who would it be and why?
Ray Lewis, so that I could say I took a hit from him and to see how hard it would hurt.
