When did you begin playing football?

When I was in the 9th grade

 

Who has had the greatest impact on your career?

My mother, father and papa

  

What has been the biggest difference between high school football and college football?

The mental part of playing quarterback and having to know what every player on the field is going to do. 

 

What has it been the best part about being a member of ODU's first football team in over 60 years?

The relationship with my teammates and coaches

 

If you could play another position what would it be and why?

Cornerback because I was good at it in high school, I had 19 interceptions in two years

 

Favorite sports other than your own?

Basketball 

 

After meeting Coach Wilder for the first time, what were your thoughts?

He's a great person that knows his stuff

 

After meeting Coach Malloy for the first time, what were your thoughts?

He is going to make me great

 

Do you have a pre-game ritual, if so what is it?

Pray and listen to music

 

What is your funniest memory from an ODU practice this far?

When our coach made us run for a long time when we were supposed to have a group meeting

 

If you could line up opposite any player in the NFL and go 1-on-1, who would it be and why?

Champ Bailey because he is one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL

 

What song is stuck in your head right now?

Notorious B.I.G - Juicy

 

What is one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?

I can braid my own hair

 

What is your dream job?

To operate my own business I don't make it to the NFL

 

What is your most valued possession?

My state championship ring from high school

 

What is your favorite place to eat on campus?

Café 1201 in the Webb Center
