* With five assists on the night, senior guard Jazzmin Walters cracked the Top 10 ODU Assist Leaders list and moved into ninth on the list. Walters currently has 363 career dishes and needs 14 more assists to move past Shareese Grant (2001-2005) into eighth on the list.
* With 11 points on the evening, senior Tiffany Green brought her career point total to 1,082. She needs four more points to surpass Sharron Francis (1998-2002) for 23rd on the ODU All-Time Scoring Leaders list.
* Old Dominion fell to its second ranked opponent on the road. The Lady Monarchs dropped a 78-44 contest to No. 14/13 Texas last week.
* The Lady Monarchs will close out 2008 with four straight home games hosting Norfolk State, St. Joseph's, #9/12 Tennessee, and #10/14 Maryland. Old Dominion's next road contest is not until Jan. 2, 2009 at Ole Miss.
* Old Dominion's win streak over the BIG TEN came to a halt with the 74-48 loss to Michigan State. Last season, the Lady Monarchs had made it back-to-back-to-back victories over the BIG TEN. The Lady Monarchs returned from a 66-53 upset win over then No. 22/20 Purdue at the Paradise Jam in St. Thomas, only to return home to see two more BIG TEN squads. Old Dominion then proceeded to down Penn State, 77-49, and upset then No. 19/20 Michigan State, 79-73.
