NORFOLK, Va. (AP)-- Jazzmin Walters scored 24 points to help Old Dominion beat Virginia 78-70 in a rematch of last season's second-round NCAA tournament game.

Tiffany Green added 20 points and 12 rebounds and Jessica Canady had 16 points and 14 rebounds to help the No. 25 Lady Monarchs (3-1) win their 27th straight home game. They have the nation's second-longest streak behind Hartford's 28.

No. 16 Virginia (2-1), coming off an upset of Tennessee, pulled within 62-60 on Monica Wright's jumper with 4:35 to play, but got no closer. With Old Dominion up three in the final minute, Walters made one of two free throws and a layup to secure the win.

In the tournament last season, the Lady Monarchs won on Walters' 3 with 4.8 seconds to play in overtime.
