BOSTON, Mass. -- The ODU Lady Monarch sailors finished 14th at the Victorian Coffee Urn regatta this weekend, held at Harvard. Sophomore Morgan Wilson skippered the B division boat to a 13th place effort, with Kaitlyn Paulsen and Arianna Baker. In A division, junior Katrina Williams and senior Jaclyn Finney finished in 14th place.
Wilson and Paulsen sailed the first five races together in B division with two top tens and a sixth place finish. Paulsen then gave way to Baker, as the freshman paired with Wilson for the final six races. The latter tandem grabbed three top tens with a high of ninth. The trio combined for 123 points, good for 13th in B division.
Williams and Jaci Finney finished with 117 points in A division. The pair also had five top ten finishes including a regatta-high fourth in the 10th race of the weekend.
Old Dominion finished with 240 total points on the weekend, 40 points out of a top ten finish.
