ODU Takes 4th at Tom Curtis Memorial Regatta

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The #15 ODU sailors, behind a solid effort in B division by freshmen Drew Hall and Kyle Hanson, finished 4th at the Tom Curtis Memorial Regatta this weekend. Hall and Hanson combined for a second place finish in B division with 28 total points, just four back of the champion Fordham team.

With Hall at skipper, the tandem grabbed two wins and finished out of the top five only once during the eight-race regatta.

In A division, ODU finished seventh with sophomore Morgan Wilson and freshman Rachel Pokorny in the boat. Wilson steered the pair to a high of second and finished among the top ten boats in six of the eight completed races. They finished with 59 points, just three back of American for a top five finish.

As a team, Old Dominion finished with 87 total points, 11 points behind #4 St. Mary's College for third.
