Philadelphia, Pa. - The ODU doubles teams of Nadine Fahoum and Charleen Haarhoff went 2-0 during the first day of doubles competition at the ITA East Regionals in Philadelphia.
The seventh seeded Lady Monarch duo opened the day with an 8-1 victory over the team of Caitlin White and Lauren Cloonan from Towson and followed that up with an 8-5 over Yale's Vicky Brook and Stevi Petrelli.
Tomorrow Fahoum and Haarhoff will play for a chance to advance to the quarterfinal round of the doubles draw, while also opening play in the singles competition.
