Chapel Hill, N.C. - ODU sophomore Tobias Fanselow advanced to the round of 64 at the ITA Mideast Regional on Friday with a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Brian Coxton of Winston-Salem State. Fanselow's next opponents will be the sixth seeded Clint Bowles of Florida State who had a bye in the opening round.
Also joining Fanselow in the round of 64 is fellow Monarch Aleksandr Seleznev who will take on Andrew Brasseaux of Wake Forest tomorrow morning at 10 a.m.
Together the ninth seeded Monarch duo has posted two doubles victories to advance to the round of 16 of the doubles draw. However, their next test will be a tough one as they're set to face the University of Virginia's fifth seeded team of Houston Barrick and Sanam Singh.
