NEW LONDON, Conn. -- The #15 ranked Old Dominion sailing team finished 15th at the Danmark Trophy regatta this weekend. The team was led by seniors Michael Brown and Jaclyn Finney in B division with an 8th place finish. ODU totaled 292 points in 12 completed races to beat out five teams in the event.
Senior Mikey Brown skippered with Jaci Finney in B division, finishing with 103 total points in 12 races for the eighth place effort. The pair had nine top ten finishes including a second place finish.
In A division, ODU senior Alissa Ayres crewed all 12 races with junior Kyle Rogachenko and Zach Kelchner splitting time as skipper. The A division boat finished with 189 points, finishing 20th overall. Rogachenko and Ayres scored a high finish in A division of 9th.
ODU finished just 12 points back of Hobart & William Smith for 14th place.
