MAISA WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIPSSt. Mary's College of Maryland April 19-20, 2008
REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS: Sat:Beautiful day with no wind and a massive line of pollen on the water until2pm.Racing started in a light Southerly that died off. An Easterly filled latein the day which provided some nice racing. Last race finished at 6:45pm.Impressive job by Navy¹s Charlotte Hill and Kristen Sprout with all bulletsin tough conditions to help propel Navy to the top of the scoreboard as wehead into Sunday.Sun:Easterly winds were shifty and velocity was all over the place as stormcells rumbled by.Unfortunately, racing had to be postponed after race 7B for about an hourwhile lightning and a fierce down pour prevented competition.VERY TIGHT competition amongst the top five teams as ODU made a late chargeespecially in B division where Steph Roble and Jaci Finnly dominated thestarting line.
