ABOUT THE LADY MONARCHS:The No. 13/14 Lady Monarchs are winners in their last 12 contests and in 15 of their last 16 games. Old Dominion has a quick one game road trip for its first meeting with George Mason before returning home to host a pair of games with William & Mary and Northeastern. Old Dominion is coming off an 93-56 route of UNC-Wilmington Sunday afternoon at the Ted Constant Convocation Center in the Lady Monarchs' fourth straight win by over 30 points, 21st straight in CAA action, and 19th straight at home. Senior T.J. Jordan led all scorers with 20 points, fourth game this season with 20 or more points, and freshman Jasmine Parker collected a new career-mark with 18 points. Jordan continues to lead the squad at 14.1 points per game. Senior Megan Pym and junior Tiffany Green lead the Lady Monarchs on the battle of the boards at 7.4 rebounds per game apiece.

ABOUT GEORGE MASON:George Mason enters Thursday's contest with an 8-12 overall mark and 2-7 record in the CAA. The Patriots are looking to snap a three-game losing streak which has seen George Mason fall in contests at UNC-Wilmington, at James Madison, and at home at the Patriot Center against Virginia Commonwealth. George Mason is led by senior guard Latiesha Wade at 13.8 points per game. Wade is the lone Patriot averaging double figures. Senior forward Moni Akintunde leads her squad in rebounding at 6.2 boards per game.

SERIES WITH GEORGE MASON:The Patriots are one of five CAA teams that have yet to defeat the Lady Monarchs. Old Dominion owns a 41-0 record against George Mason.

LAST TIME VS. GEORGE MASON:T.J. Jordan became the 25th Lady Monarch to reach 1,000 career points as the Lady Monarch women's basketball team defeated George Mason, 80-52, back on February 22, 2007 at the Ted Constant Convocation Center. The game was never in doubt as Old Dominion opened the game on an 8-0 run. The Lady Monarchs held a 41-19 lead at the half and held as much as a 29-point lead midway through the second half. Jordan finished the night with 15 points and connected on a three-pointer, her third of final of the night, at the 4:39 mark to reach the 1,000 point mark. Tiffany Green also concluded the night with 15 points and captured her team-leading third double-double of the season as she hauled in 11 boards. Megan Pym came off the bench to record a career-high five-steal and five assists in a season-high 21 minutes of action. George Mason had three members of its squad in double figures. Lateisha Wade put up 15 points, while both Nikkia Slade and Casey Quigley netted 11 from off the bench. The Lady Monarchs outrebounded the Patriots, 46-35, with Green leading the way with her 11 rebounds. Former Lady Monarch Sherida Triggs also grabbed nine in the victory for Old Dominion.

CAA STREAK:Old Dominion has won its last 21 straight CAA contests. The Lady Monarchs last loss in league play was a 79-50 against James Madison in Harrisonburg on February 1, 2007.

UNDEFEATED - AT HOME:Old Dominion is currently 9-0 at home and finished non-conference play at 5-0 at the Ted Constant Convocation Center.

HOME COURT STREAK:The Lady Monarchs have won 19 straight home contests dating back to the Dec. 20, 2006, 72-55, victory over national runner-up Rutgers. ODU's last loss at the Ted Constant Convocation Center was against national champion Tennessee, 59-75, back on Dec. 22, 2006.

CAA HOME COURT STREAK: The Lady Monarchs have won 30 straight home CAA contests dating back to the January 14, 2005, 78-59, victory over Virginia Commonwealth. ODU's last conference loss at the Ted Constant Convocation Center was against Delaware, 70-73, on January 9, 2005. Old Dominion holds a 153-2 home CAA mark.

PUTTING UP THE POINTS:On February 3rd, Old Dominion collected a season-high in point with a 93-56 win over the Seahawks. The 93 points were the most scored by the team since netting 94 against Hofstra in the semifinals of the CAA Tournament back on March 10, 2006.

TRY THIS ON FOR NUMBERS:The 93-56 win over UNC-Wilmington on February 3rd was the Lady Monarchs 300th win in CAA play since joining the league in 1991-92. Old Dominion holds a 300-16 overall record in 17 years in the conference.

CRACKING A TOP TEN: Junior Jazzmin Walters is almost ready to cracked the top ten junior assist list at Old Dominion. Walters, who dished out four assists in ODU's last outing against UNC-Wilmington, has handed out 101 assists on the year, needing to dish the ball out two more times to surpass Debbie Richards for 10th place. Richards had 102 dishes during her junior season in 1977-78.
