NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - T.J. Jordan scored 18 points, including a 14-point surge in the second half, to lead Old Dominion to a 82-57 victory Sunday over James Madison.
Jordan was 6-for-14 shooting and led four players in double figures for the Monarchs (12-3, 3-0 Colonial Athletic Association). Jazzmin Walters scored 14, Shahida Williams scored 13 points and Jessica Canady had 12 points.
The Dukes (9-5, 2-1) saw their 35-33 lead evaporate after halftime, as they only made 29 percent of their field goals - including 12.5 percent from three-point range - in the second period, and managed to score only 3 more points after the teams were tied at 54 with 15:50 remaining.
Tamera Young led James Madison with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
