JAMMING IN PARADISE: Women's Basketball Travels To St. Thomas For Three-Game Tournament

NORFOLK, Va. -- Following a pair of SEC road wins and closing out the non-conference schedule at 9-3, with all three losses against the No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 teams in the nation, the Old Dominion women's basketball team cracked the Top 25 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches' Poll. The Lady Monarchs are at No. 23.

Old Dominion's appearance at No. 23 marks the Lady Monarchs' first appearance since the second week of the 2002-03 season.

Earlier in the week, Old Dominion moved up four notches in the Associated Press Poll to No. 19.

Old Dominion returns to action on Sunday, January 6th as the 16-time defending Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) champions open up conference play at Georgia State. Tip-off is at 3:30 p.m. and the game will be aired on Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic and Southeast.
