NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion women's basketball team ranks 15th nationally in women's basketball attendance according to the unofficial attendance rankings compiled by the University of Wisconsin.
The Lady Monarchs have averaged 3,333 fans over their first four home games of the season for a total attendance of 13,331 for the 2007-08 season.
Old Dominion is currently 4-0 at home including an upset victory over No. 20/19 Michigan State as well as Middle Tennessee, Charlotte, and Penn State. The Lady Monarchs are 67-12 at the Ted Constant Convocation Center, which opened its doors in 2002.
Old Dominion will return home following its trip to top-ranked Tennessee to host Delaware State on Thursday, Dec. 20 at 11:00 p.m. The Hornets will be the final home non-conference contest for the Lady Monarchs before opening the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) portion of its schedule. Home dates will include James Madison, Virginia Commonwealth, Georgia State, UNC-Wilmington, William & Mary, Northeastern, Drexel, George Mason, and Hofstra. The February 10th game versus William & Mary will be the annual Hoops for a Cure game.
