NORFOLK, VA-- The ODU Men's basketball squad will have its finalexhibition game Monday night when they host the Rams of Shepherd University from West Virginia. Game time is 7 p.m. in the Ted ConstantConvocation Center.
ODU won their exhibition opener over Mount Olive, 83-53 as JonathanAdams and Frank Hassell led with 13 points, while Gerald Lee added 11 andSam Harris 10.
Shepherd is coached by Ken Tyler and the Rams are members of theWest Virginia Conference. Shepherd was 16-13 last year and 9-9 intheir league. Top returnees include 6-2 sophomore Derek Gallagher(7.3 ppg/4.2 rg), and 6-2 junior guard Fred Lymas (7.0 ppg/3.6 rpg).Lymas shot .504 from the floor last season.
ODU opens the regular season Sunday, Nov. 11 against South CarolinaState.
