NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion women's basketball team will host Athletes in Action in its final preseason tune-up on Tuesday, November 6th at 7:00 p.m. at the Ted Constant Convocation Center.
It will be the final preseason game for the Lady Monarchs, who will open up the 2007-08 regular season on Saturday, November 10th against Middle Tennesseee. The Blue Raiders are receiving votes in both national polls and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament last season.
In their previous exhibition outing, Old Dominion got 25 points from returning leading scorer T.J. Jordan (Portsmouth, Va.) in a 41-point, 101-60 victory over Shaw University. Jordan, a First Team Preseason All-CAA selection, was one of six Lady Monarch double figure scorers in the game.
