DURHAM, NC--Old Dominion University Sophomore Eric Onesi(Bear, DE.), the 2007 CAA Rookie of the Year shot a final round 67 tofinish with a 54-hole score of 207 and take second at the Coca Cola DukeClassic. He was three strokes behind the individual champion Jonathan Hodge Of UT Chattanooga. As a team, ODU finished sixth at 859.
Onesi was nine-under par as he shot 69, 71 and 67 for the tournament. Jeffrey Long was 19th as he was even at 216. 13th ranked Duke and UT Chattanooga were co-champions at 842.
The Monarchs return to action on Oct. 29 and 30 when they hostthe ODU/Seascape Collegiate in Kitty Hawk, NC.
