GENEVA, N.Y. -- The co-ed sailing program finished in 15th place at the weather-shortened Hobart & William Smith Fall Intersectional this weekend. Senior skipper Michael Collins and freshman crew Kristen Cumming finished in 13th place in A division. ODU's co-ed team also finished in 5th place at the Hampton Bay Days Regatta this weekend.

Collins and Cumming finished with 95 points in A division, just 18 points out of the top ten boats. The pair finished as high as fifth place and had two top ten finishes on the weekend.

In B division, sophomore Robert Kushner and Sonya Mendoza finished in 14th place with 100 points, just 16 points out of the top ten. In eight races, Kushner and Mendoza finished among the top two-thirds of the fleet in four of the races.

The team finished with 195 points for 15th place, 20 points behind the 10th place boat in Cornell. On Saturday, impending thunder storms cut the day short and on Sunday, the wind died at around 3:00 pm and ended the regatta early.
