Norfolk, Va. - The Old Dominion University women's tennis team lost both singles matches and its doubles match on Sunday as the Lady Monarchs were ousted from the ITA East Regional Tennis Championships.
In the singles competition, both Barbara Costa and Charleen Haarhoff were eliminated in the round of 64. Costa fell 6-0, 6-2 to Kate Kosminskaya of Penn, while Brown's Marisa Schonfeld won 6-4, 6-4 over Haarhoff.
The same Lady Monarch duo teamed up in doubles play where they advanced to the round of 16 before being eliminated with an 8-5 loss to William & Mary's team of Acharya and Bresson.
