RICHMOND, VA-- Monarch senior Stan Guerrero (Tijuana, Mexico) shot a two-round 141 which isgood for fifth at the VCU Shootout. Seth Norman(Virginia Beach,VA.) is tied for 14th with a 145and ODU as a team is tenth at 579.
ODU was tied for fourth after 18 holes as the Monarchs shot 284. TheMonarchs shot 295 in the second 18 holes. The University of Wisconsinand Penn State lead the event with scores of 562.
Individually, Kevin Foley of Penn State shot 65 and 68 for 133 and atwo stroke lead, and Guerrero, the CAA Scholar Athlete of the Year forgolf as well as Scholar All-American is eight strokes behind him. BothGuerrero and Eric Onesi, the 2007 CAA Rookie of the Year shot 69's in thefirst round.
