BOLTON, MA.-- John Murphy (Wilton, CT.) and Stan Guerrero (Mexico) aretied for third after two rounds of the Hartford Hawks Invitational and the Monarchs lead the event by seven strokes. In all four Monarchs arein the top 11 after 36 holes.
Murphy, the 2007 CAA Tournament champion and Most Outstanding playerstarted slow with a 76, then shot a 67 in the second round to tie teammateStan Guerrero who shot 69 and 74.
Freshman Seth Norman (Virginia Beach, VA.) shot a 74 and 73 for 147 totie for ninth and Jeffrey Long(Centreville, VA.) shot 72 and 76 to finishat 148 and a share of 11th spot. Eric Onesi (Bear, DE.) is at 23rd with a 150.
As a team, ODU is at 578, seven strokes ahead of Penn State and 10 aheadof Florida Gulf Coast. The individual leader is Keegan Bradley of St. John's University with a three under 141. He shot 68-73 today.
