NORFOLK, VA-- Old Dominion University junior midfielder Trevor Banks (Madison, WI.-Madison Memorial HS.) has been named CAA Player of the Week. Banks scored two goals in ODU's 3-2 loss to Ohio State and assisted on the game winning goal in the Monarchs, 1-0 win against Penn State. Banks was named to the Penn State Nike Classic All-Tournament squad.
Banks currently leads the Monarchs (1-2-1) in scoring with two goals, and one assist for five total points. ODU hosts the 31st annual Stihl Soccer Classic Sept. 14 and 16. ODU will play Dartmouth at 7 p.m. with William and Mary against Temple at 4:30 p.m.
