RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL -- ODU rising sophomore Katrina Williams is in sixth place in the Laser Radial event at the 2007 Pan-American Games after five heats. With five races to go, Williams is just 10 points back of the lead with the medal event scheduled for 12:00 EDT this Saturday.
The first five races were held over the past three days with the Monarch finishing as high as third in the second heat. She has compiled 21 points, just ten back of the leader with 11 (Tania Elias Calles Wolf - Mexico).
Three races are scheduled for Thursday and two on Friday before the medal race on Saturday.
