NORFOLK, Va. -- Freshman attacker Ashley Kellogg (Downingtown, Pa.) was named the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week for the week ending April 29th it was announced Monday by the league office.
Kellogg collected a career-high four goals and added a draw control in Old Dominion's victory over William & Mary in the regular season finale last Wednesday. It marked the fourth multiple scoring game of the season for the freshman.
To date, Kellogg is the fifth on the team in scoring with 17 goals, two assists and 19 points.
The Old Dominion women's lacrosse team returns to action on Friday in the semifinals of the CAA Tournament. The fourth-seeded Lady Monarchs will take on top-seed and host Hofstra at 5:00 p.m. at Shuart Stadium.
