HOT SPRINGS, VA-- ODU freshman Laura Holmes wasselected second team All-CAA and is currentlytied for 23rd after one round of play at the CAAChampionships which are being played at the Homestead.
Laura Holmes earns ODU's first All-CAA honors as she was the Lady Monarchs top golfer in seven events. She tied for 17that Draper Valley, took fourth at NIU Springlake and eighth at Longwood. Her stroke average was 78.4 in the Spring and 78.0 in the Fall.
Senior Ashley Davis is 25th after shooting an 82 and Alexis Gardunois tied for 36th with an 87.
As a team, the Lady Monarchs are eighth after shooting a 338. UNCWilmington leads the event with a 306.
