RICHMOND, VA--Old Dominion University (23-7) seniors Valdas Vasylius (Klaipeda, Lithuania) and Drew Williamson (Burlington, NC.) were named to the 2007 Colonial Athletic Association's All-Conference squad as selected by the leagues coaches, and media. Vasylius earned first team honors, while Williamson is on the second team.

Junior guard Brandon Johnson (Orlando, FL.) along with Williamson earnedCAA All-Defensive honors. In the classroom, sophomore forward Jonathan Adams(Ringgold, GA.) and graduate student John Morris (Camp Hill, PA.) were selectedto the first team CAA All-Academic squad. The Monarchs 7-3 junior center Sam Harris(Tasmania, Australia) earned second team All-Academic honors. All three have GPA's over 3.10.

Vasylius leads the Monarchs in scoring at 16.0 points per game and in reboundingAt 6.3. He has had four double-doubles and earned CAA Player of the Week honorsOn Feb. 24th. Vasylius has 1,310 career points and 567 career rebounds. Vasylius was also selected to the second team NABC All-District IV squad,

Drew Williamson ranks second all-time at ODU in career steals (204) and seventh all-time at ODU in career assists (549). He has been in the top two of the league in best assist/turnover ration three straight years. Williamson currently has 919 career points.

Williamson along with Brandon Johnson both have 64 steals (2.1) per game.Johnson not only had four or more steals seven times, but averaged 4.8 rebounds per game which is the most for an ODU guard since John Waller 5.0 in 2004. KevinLarkin's 6.2 is the best ever in 1994.

The Monarchs open the CAA Tournament on Saturday at 6 p.m. against the winner of the UNC Wilmington/Towson game. ODU is the second seed.
