NORFOLK, VA--Old Dominion(7-6) pounded out 13 hits led by freshmanThirdbaseman Jake McAloose (Virginia Beach, Va.) and junior DH David Burns (Jacksonville, FL.) to defeat Radford (2-5), 10-4.

McAloose, Burns and firstbaseman Tyler Belcher (Bristol, VA.) each knocked in two runs on the day. Belcher along with senior co-captain Mike Zahm each had two hits.Belcher doubled home two runs in the third inning, scoring Burns and McAloose.Burns doubled home McAloose the first inning. The Monarchs have scored ten or more runs five times this year. Burns and Chris Keenan (Chesapeake, Va.) each scored twicefor ODU.

Senior righthander Hunter Hall (Virginia Beach, Va.) picked up his first win of the season. Hall gave up just one run on two hits with four strikeouts. ODU starter David Wagner (Johnstown, PA.) held the Highlanders scoreless until the fifth inning.

Radford was led by Tyren Rivers who had two hits and knocked in a run. ODU hosts Iona this weekend in a four-game series beginning Friday afternoon at 3 p.m.
