NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion University women's lacrosse team boasted 13 members on the Fall 2006 Dean's list, the most of any Monarch or Lady Monarch team last semester.
Among those excelling in the classroom were freshmen Alana Beck (Carle Place, N.Y./Engineering), Katherine Bruno (Setauket, N.Y./Psychology), Jacquelyn Duggins (Charlottesville, Va./Exercise Science), D'Ana Goodfellow (Hauppauge, N.Y./Psychology), Ashley Kellogg (Downingtown, Pa./Physical Education), Nicole McMahon (Commack, N.Y./Physical Education), and Jilliam Taylor (Philadelphia, Pa./Psychology), sophomores Lindsey Belle (Baldwinsville, Md./English Education) Karen Rudderow (Collingswood, N.J./Nursing) and Brittany Washko (Dunkirk, Md./Dental Hygiene), junior Sara Larson (Sylvan Lake, Mich/English), and seniors Ashley Stanwick (Aquasco, Md./Occupational Technical Studies) and Katie Veneziale (Downingtown, Pa./Physical Education).
Overall the 27 members of the Old Dominion women's lacrosse posted a 3.15 team grade point average.
The Old Dominion women's lacrosse team will kick-off the 2007 season on March 4th hosting American at Foreman Field.
