HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) - Meredith Alexis had 21 points and eight rebounds to lead No. 25 James Madison to a 79-50 win over Old Dominion on Thursday night that extended the Dukes' winning streak to 10 games.
Tamera Young had 15 points and 10 rebounds, and Shirley McCall added 15 points for James Madison (18-2, 10-0 Colonial Athletic Association), which never trailed.
Tiffany Green led Old Dominion (12-8, 8-1) with 10 points and eight rebounds, and Shantel Wilson added 10.
Old Dominion trailed 33-25 at the half, never getting closer than six after the opening minutes.
The Dukes shot 42.2 percent from the field and held the Monarchs to 26.7 percent shooting.
