RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -Eric Maynor scored 13 of his 23 points in the final 6:08 Saturday night as Virginia Commonwealth rallied from a 12-point second-half deficit to beat Old Dominion 80-75 and stay unbeaten in the Colonial Athletic Association.

The Rams (16-3, 8-0 CAA) trailed 46-34 with 16:13 left after Old Dominion (12-7, 5-3) capped a 23-8 run spanning the halves.

VCU took the lead at 59-57 after a three-point play by Maynor with 7:43 to play, and went ahead to stay at 67-65 on two free throws by Maynor with 5:23 remaining. The Rams made 14 of 23 shots in the second half.

Old Dominion fell behind by as many as seven before rallying to within three in the final minute, but the Monarchs got no closer.

Brandon Johnson led Old Dominion with a career-high 20 points, Brian Henderson had 14 and Drew Williamson had 12.

B.A. Walker added 19 for VCU - 13 in the first half - and Jamal Shuler scored 11.

ODU came up with 11 steals on the night, led by Johnson with four, forcingthe Rams into 18 turnovers. ODU outrebounded VCU, 42-41 overall and hauleddown 20 offensive boards. VCU hit 26-34 free throws to ODU's 11-19.
