NORFOLK, VA--Old Dominion University senior forward Edson Elcock(Brooklyn, NY.) was selected in the third round (29th overall pick) by theKansas City Wizards in today's Major League Soccer Super draft.
Elcock led ODU and the CAA with 11 goals, six assists for 28 total points.He earned first team All-American honors by the coaches NSCAA/adidas. Elcockalso earned first team All-CAA honors as well as first team NSCAA All-Regional honors.Elcock had two game-winning goals as he helped lead the Monarchs to a 14-6-2 recordand the round of 16 in this year's NCAA College Cup.
