NORFOLK,VA-- ODU's Blue team took second in the MAISA Open held at the Old Dominion University sailing center. A total of 16 races, eight in each division were held. ODU's blue team of Alan Alkins (Trinidad) and Stephen Waters (Norfolk, VA.) won the B division title.
The team of Gillen Elder (Norfolk, VA.) and Amanda Martin (Suffield, CT.) and Lisa Shapiro took thirdwith 33 points in A division. The ODU silver squad finished sixth with 79 points.
The US Naval Academy won the eventh as Bryan Rigby and Tina Pryne took first in the A division.
