NORFOLK, VA--Ricky Henderson scored two goals and Chris Murrayassisted on two goals to lead the Seahawks of UNC Wilmington (10-5-1/5-4) toa 3-0 CAA victory over the Monarchs of Old Dominion (10-4-1/5-3-1) FridayNight. The Monarchs ranked 25th by the NSCAA/adidas coaches poll.
Henderson got a pass on the break from Chris Murray and scored fromabout ten yards away to give UNCW a 1-0 lead. Eight minutes later, AllenAnthony, off a pass from Murray chipped a shot from about 15 yards out just overthe keepers hands to make, 2-0 at halftime. Henderson added a second goal with anassist from Allen just in front of the box for the final score with about 29 minutesleft in the match.
ODU outshot UNCW, 23-8, as Seahawk keeper Brad Knighton came upwith six saves. ODU travels to Atlanta, GA for a Sunday match against GeorgiaState.
