ODU Hosts CAA Leading George Mason and Towson This Weekend

NORFOLK, VA--The Old Dominion Soccer Monarchs (9-2-1/4-1)hosts CAA leading George Mason (10-2/6-0) on Friday night and Towson(9-1-2/ 5-0-1) on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the ODU Soccer stadium.

ODU ranks 13th by COLLEGE SOCCER NEWS, 16th by SOCCER AMERICA and 20th by the coaches NSCAA/adidas, while George Mason ranks 22nd by COLLEGESOCCER NEWS. The Monarchs also rank 11th in the latest NCAA men's soccer RPIwhich includes four CAA teams in the top 31.

ODU senior Edson Elcock is tied for third in the CAA with Towson'sSebastian Haensel with five assists. Elcock also ranks third in the CAA with19 total points. Towson's keeper, Billy Chiles is second in the CAA in savesper game at 6.43, while George Mason's keeper leads the CAA in shutouts witheight, followed by ODU's Evan Newton with five.NSCAA/ADIDAS Regional Rankings
