NORFOLK, Va. -- Old Dominion freshman midfielder Katie Ueberroth (Stevens, Pa.) was featured in Sports Illustrated's "Faces In The Crowd" in the September 18th issue.
The rookie midfielder was featured for being named the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Rookie of the Week the first week of the season.
Ueberroth earned the Lady Monarchs first CAA weekly award of the season after caming off the Lady Monarch bench to help ODU to a 3-1 victory over #7 Penn State and a 6-1 win over Ohio with two goals and an assist. She tallied ODU's third and final goal against the Nittany Lions and then followed by assisting Sami McLenegan's game-winner in the win over Ohio and scoring the Lady Monarchs' sixth and final goal of the game.
The Lady Monarch field hockey team returns to action this weekend traveling to #4 North Carolina on Saturday and #5 Duke on Sunday.
