After a scoreless regulation, Watson received a pass from Jenni Purdum(Vienna, Va.) and pushed it pass ECU's goalkeeper for the win.
ODU outshot the Pirates, 20-5, while sophomore goalkeeper Lauren Tupman (Virginia Beach, VA.) got the shutout on two saves. ECU's Amber Campbell had sixSaves. ODU returns to action Sunday when they travel to Elon for a 1 p.m. match.
