NORFOLK, VA--Senior forward Brian Cvilikas (Highlands Ranch, CO) and senior defender Trevor McEachron have both been named to the NSCAA All-South Atlantic Region First Team. Junior forward Edson Elcock (Brooklyn, NY) was named to the 2nd team
Cvilikas, the 2005 CAA Player of the Year, led the conference in goals (15) and points (30) this past season. Through the course of the season, Cvilikas also picked up College Soccer News Player of the Week, Soccer America Player of the Week, and CAA Player of the Week honors.
McEachron, named to the All-CAA First Team for the third time in his career, made a comeback from seven knee operations to be one of the anchors of a Monarch defense that posted 12 shutouts in 21 contests. McEachron was named to the All-South Atlantic team for the third time in his ODU career.
Elcock was named to the All-CAA First Team this season. after scoring 6 goals and ranking third on the team in points with 14. This is his first NSCAA postseason regional honor.
ODU finished 15-4-2 this season, was ranked as high as #2 nationally, received the highest seed in program history (#10) for the NCAA Tournament, and reached the second round of the tournament for the 4th consecutive season
