VIRGINIA BEACH, VA--Winthrop University shot a tournamentrecord 298 in the final round today to win the third annual Old DominionTPC/Virginia Beach Women's Invitational. Winthrop was five shots betteron the day than second place Columbia who shot a 303. Winthrop's two-day total was 604.The individual champion was Erin White who shot a 73 both days tofinish at 146, three strokes better than Lindsay Snowden of UC-Riverside.
William and Mary finished third at 622 as Misha Harvey led the TribeWith a ninth place finish at 155 and Marissa Sprick at 156 for tenth spot.
Host ODU was paced by freshman Alexis Garduno (Sacramento, CA.)who shot an 84 both days to finish with a 168 for 30th. Freshman DeztanyJackson (Oxon Hill, MD) and sophomore Amanda Moore (Hudson, FL.)tied at 176 for 35th spot.
